The Social AI platform employs a sophisticated reward calculation mechanism to determine the distribution of rewards from the allocated reward pool. This section provides a high-level overview of how rewards are calculated, and the factors considered and includes examples and formulas to illustrate the process.

CALCULATION FACTORS
Content Quality	The quality of content is evaluated based on various metrics, such as upvotes, comments, shares, and overall engagement. High-quality content that generates substantial user interactions is rewarded more significantly.
User Engagement	User engagement metrics, including the number of likes, comments, and shares received by a user's content, contribute to the calculation of rewards. Active and engaged users are incentivized for their contributions to the platform.
Voting Power	The voting power of users plays a role in determining the weight of their votes and the subsequent rewards they receive. Users with higher voting power have a greater influence on the distribution of rewards.
Decay	A decay mechanism is implemented to encourage regular platform usage and discourage inactive accounts. Users who are inactive for a certain period experience a gradual reduction in their voting power and, consequently, their share of the reward pool.

EXAMPLES AND FORMULAS FOR REWARD CALCULATION

To better understand the reward calculation process, let's consider a simplified example:

Suppose the reward pool for a given period is 1,000 tokens and there are ten users actively participating in the platform. The factors considered for reward calculation are content quality, user engagement, voting power, and decay.

The reward calculation process ensures that users who contribute valuable content, engage with the community, and maintain an active presence on the platform are appropriately rewarded from the allocated reward pool.

Let’s not also forget that for every action that uses your power on the network, your overall power is reduced until that action has regenerated over 24 hours. Meaning, if you vote at 100% of your weight, then you get 10 votes per day at 100%, thus effectively decreasing your overall power to 0%. Every action will reset and regenerate within 24 hours, so that exactly 24 hours after the action, you can do another 100% vote for example.

However, only transactions will require interactions from users; posting, commenting, etc, don’t really do much on the chain - all they do is on the platform - it is the action of voting, powering up, power down, hodling the token that will determine what your overall power and reward will be.
